Hi! My name is Nathan Gourley, and I am the owner and sole operator of Katahdin Customs. I’m originally from Maine and attended Oregon State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Ever since my time there, I’ve always kept myself busy with mechanical projects—from rebuilding an engine in my college apartment to cutting a car in half to create what I considered at the time “the ultimate dirtbag teardrop trailer.” Since graduating, I’ve stayed busy fixing cars and restoring vehicles. Over the last few years, I’ve really dove deep into the world of diesel mechanics and even spent some time working as an engineer for John Deere.

After leaving that role, I decided to combine my engineering background with my hands-on mechanical skills to start my own company—and that’s how Katahdin Customs was born.

Up until recently I was operating out of my family’s farm in Maine, but I have recently relocated to the Jackson area. I am excited to be part of this community and to serve you through Katahdin Customs Mobile Mechanic Services!
